Pre-University / Employment Assessment
Please note the below information does not refer to Immigration Medical Examinations. If this is your requirement, please refer to the country of interest under the Immigration Medical dropdown list.
Worldwide universities and employers may request a medical clearance certificate/letter. This usually involves a medical history and examination as a minimum. Sometimes x-rays, blood tests, and/or vaccinations are also required.
If you have been asked to undergo a medical assessment by your prospective university/employer, please email info@knightsbridge-doctors.com with any related official paperwork. This is a required step to clarify the requested testing and provide an accurate quotation. Generally, a consultation appointment (history, examination and completion of paperwork) in this area will cost £260.00. Any additional tests will incur further charges, which will be confirmed before booking.
Sometimes the only specific requirement is "tuberculosis testing". This testing can involve one or more of:
- Tuberculin skin testing
- Quantiferon or T-Spot blood test
- Chest X-ray
If this applies to you, as above please forward the related paperwork and we will advise and provide a quotation. If TB testing is the SOLE requirement, it may be possible to arrange an appointment for a lesser fee of £150.00. Please note all of these tests cost an extra £130.00. This only includes the TB test and completion of paperwork.
