Belgium

Applicants should apply for a medical only when advised by the Belgian authorities

1. Making Your Appointment

The practice is open on Mondays to Fridays from 9:00am to 5.00pm.

For visa medical appointments, please use our online BOOKING FORM and questionnaire. Please note, if you have an early appointment, you will not be allowed access into the building until 9:00am. Otherwise, please arrive 30 minutes before your appointment time to allow us to carry out the necessary administration.

Please note Knightsbridge Doctors operate a cancellation policy.  If an immigration medical examination is cancelled within 10 days of the appointment a £50 cancellation charge is incurred.  Additionally if the cancellation is within 24 hours of the booked appointment, the full fee will be charged.

Please also have the following information ready when you call us/book online:

  • Your preferred appointment dates
  • Title (Mr/Ms/Miss/Mrs/Dr/Prof)
  • First Name, Middle Name, Surname (as per passport)
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Home address
  • Email address
  • Contact number
  • Country of birth

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied with a parent. (If there is an issue with a parent attending, please contact the clinic directly before an appointment).

Please allow around an hour for your appointment.

2. What To Bring To Your Appointment

  • Valid passport (mandatory)
  • Your own pen and water, to avoid contact as much as possible
  • GP Reports or Hospital clinic letters covering any past or existing medical conditions or disabilities. The examining Doctor will clarify any questions you have in this regard at the time of the examination. (If you don't have any past or existing medical conditions, this may not apply to you.)

3. What To Expect During The Examination

The Belgium medical includes a chest x-ray and physical medical examination with the doctor. You may be required to dress down to your underwear and will be provided with a gown.

If you would like a chaperone to be present at the time of your examination, please inform us in advance or let our receptionists know on the day of the appointment.

Interpreters: if you require an interpreter, please contact the practice so that we can arrange a professional telephone interpreter.
