Immigration Medical

Belgium

Applicants should apply for a medical only when advised by the Belgian authorities

1. Making Your Appointment

The practice is open on Mondays to Fridays from 9:00am to 5.00pm.

For visa medical appointments, please use our online BOOKING FORM and questionnaire. Please note, if you have an early appointment, you will not be allowed access into the building until 9:00am. Otherwise, please arrive 30 minutes before your appointment time to allow us to carry out the necessary administration.

Please note Knightsbridge Doctors operate a cancellation policy.  If an immigration medical examination is cancelled within 10 days of the appointment a £50 cancellation charge is incurred.  Additionally if the cancellation is within 48 hours of the booked appointment, 50 percent of the appointment fee will be charged. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that the paperwork / administration details are up to date and so the applicant is in a position to have the booked immigration medical examination. Applicants who attend and don't require an Immigration Medical Examination or cancel at short notice will be subject to the Practice cancellation policy.

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied with a parent. (If there is an issue with a parent attending, please contact the clinic directly before an appointment).

Please allow around an hour for your appointment.

2. What To Bring To Your Appointment

  • Valid passport (mandatory)
  • GP Reports or Hospital clinic letters covering any past or existing medical conditions or disabilities. The examining Doctor will clarify any questions you have in this regard at the time of the examination.

3. What To Expect During The Examination

For an individual adult, please allow 1.5 hours from arrival for your appointment.  However, we recommend allowing 2 hours in case of unforseen delays.

The Belgium medical includes a chest x-ray and physical medical examination with the doctor. You may be required to dress down to your underwear and will be provided with a gown.

If you would like a chaperone to be present at the time of your examination, please inform us in advance or let our receptionists know on the day of the appointment.

Interpreters: if you require an interpreter, please contact the practice so that we can arrange a professional telephone interpreter.
