You can book a private GP appointment (GP Consultation, Telephone and Video) online by clicking on the buttons below. Alternatively please contact our medical secretary by phone (020 7584 6718 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday) or by email (secretary@knightsbridge-doctors.com). GP appointments are 30 minutes long, with Full Check-up requiring 1 hour. New patients registering with the practice will need to show photo ID (passport / ID card / driving licence).

General Practice Services

We have well-qualified doctors who provide high quality general practice services, allowing ample consultation time to deal with your health problems and concerns.

With our extensive referral network built up over many years, we are well placed to refer you to the most appropriate consultants and hospitals to address your specific medical needs. We provide a comprehensive Family practice which includes family planning, antenatal care and paediatrics.

Menopause Care with a Qualified GP

Dr Cliona O'Connell is accredited by the British Menopause Society specialising in the management of all aspects of perimenopause and menopause. Her approach includes a comprehensive assessment from diagnosis to personalised symptom management.  Individualised treatment can involve Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and/or a holistic approach tailored to your needs.

The process begins with an initial consultation to create a detailed management plan. Generally this will be followed by a review after 3 months to ensure the plan is working effectively. Ongoing annual reviews are then recommended to ensure continued optimal care.  Dr O'Connell support you on every step of the way through this important phase of life.

Health Screening

We offer full check-ups to identify health problems at an early stage and to help prevent disease.

Our health checks are tailored to individual needs, and therefore, the investigations you have during your health check will depend on your personal circumstances and risk factors. These usually includes comprehensive blood tests, electrocardiogram and a chest X-ray and other additional tests such as cervical screening, referral for mammography and bone density measurement if indicated.

All new patients are advised to have a health screen so that we can identify any specific problems, and get to know your medical history. Following your health screen, we will interpret your results and advise on how your health can be improved.

Pre-University Employment Assessment

Worldwide universities and employers may request a medical clearance certificate/letter. This usually involves a medical history and examination as a minimum. Sometimes x-rays, blood tests, and/or vaccinations are also required.

If you have been asked to undergo a medical assessment by your prospective university/employer, please email info@knightsbridge-doctors.com with any related official paperwork. This is a required step to clarify the requested testing and provide an accurate quotation. Generally, a consultation appointment (history, examination and completion of paperwork) in this area will cost £260.00. Any additional tests will incur further charges, which will be confirmed before booking.

Sometimes the only specific requirement is "tuberculosis testing".  This testing can involve one or more of: 

• Tuberculin skin testing
• Quantiferon or T-Spot blood test 
• Chest X-ray

If this applies to you, as above please forward the related paperwork and we will advise and provide a quotation. If TB testing is the SOLE requirement, it may be possible to arrange an appointment for a lesser fee of £150.00. This would only include the TB test and completion of paperwork.

X-ray Services

Under the clinical supervision of Dr Michael Rubens, Consultant Radiologist at the Royal Brompton Hospital, and his associates, our X-ray Department provides general radiographic services to patients within the practice, as well as referrals from nearby practices.

Immigration Medicals

The doctors in the practice are accredited to perform medicals for immigration purposes for Australia, New Zealand, Canada and other countries on request. With our in-house X-ray facilities, we are able to offer a convenient one-stop efficient and quick service.
